Travel Requirements

VISA and other travel requirements 

It is your responsibility to ensure you apply for the appropriate visa (if required) to enter the Netherlands. For more information, please refer to the Dutch Government's website. You can also use the online tool from Netherlands Worldwide to check whether you need a visa to enter the country. 

In some cases, you may not need a visa but will still need to carry additional documentation for entry. Please double-check your travel requirements to ensure you are fully prepared. 

VISA invitation letter 

If you need a visa invitation letter for the conference, please send us a copy of your passport and your ticket order number to info@dcc.ac.uk. We will provide the necessary documentation within 5 business days. Make sure to allow sufficient time for your visa application. If, unfortunately, your visa application is denied, we will refund your ticket upon receiving proof of denial. 

European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) 

Please note that the ETIAS system is expected to launch in the first half of 2025, although the exact date is yet to be confirmed. Once in effect, visa-exempt nationals will need ETIAS authorization to enter certain European countries, including the Netherlands. We will update this page as soon as the start date is announced.
