This year for IDCC25 we will be running two social events in addition to the regular conference:
- Pre-conference Drinks Reception, 17 February 2025
- Conference Dinner, 18 February 2025
How to book your tickets
All Social Events, workshop and conference tickets are available to book via our Eventbrite pages.
Please note: To select your Social Event tickets, simply select your IDCC25 ticket and scroll down to Social Tickets at the get tickets section of Eventbrite. Tickets are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Pre-conference drinks reception
Ahead of the start of the main conference, we are hosting a pre-conference drinks reception held on the evening of Monday 17 February 2024 at Museon Omniversum.
Join us for the drinks reception to connect with fellow delegates in a relaxed atmosphere ahead of the main conference. Access to this event is included with the purchase of a Two-Day ticket. To secure your spot at the Drinks Reception, add your free ticket during the registration process on Eventbrite.
Please note, spaces are limited for this event. If your circumstances change after booking your ticket, please inform us, so that we can give your place to someone else.
Omniversum
Museon-Omniversum is all about the earth, people and a sustainable future!
In 2022, popular science museum Museon and big-screen film theater Omniversum merged. One Planet is the name of the programming and reflects the mission: to inspire new generations to commit to a livable earth for all.
Transport and Accessibility
Public transport - from The Hague Central Station or The Hague Holland Spoor Station, take tram 17 towards Kunstmuseum, get off at the Kunstmuseum stop. Or take bus 24 from The Hague Central Station towards Kijkduin, getting off at the Kunstmuseum stop. From the Kunstmuseum stop, it is a 2-minute walk to the Museon-Omniversum entrance and minutes to the Dome entrance. For more information, visit www.htm.nl.
Car: Then you can park in the car park near the Dome entrance on President Kennedylaan or in the immediate vicinity on the street at €2,00 per hour.
Conference Dinner
The conference dinner will be held on the evening of Tuesday 18 February 2024 at the Kasteel de Wittenburg, from 19:00 to 22:00 CET.
The conference dinner will include a three-course meal with refreshments and live entertainment. Tickets can be purchased during registration on Eventbrite at an additional cost of £95 per person. Places for this event are limited.
Kasteel de Wittenburg
The history of Kasteel de Wittenburg commences in the spring of 1899, as jonkheer Helenus Marinus Speelman acquired the property on which he built a summer estate. The castle was designed by the infamous architect J.J. van Nieukerken. Nowadays the historical and calm atmosphere from the past has been fused with modern provisions.
Transport and Accessibility
Kasteel de Wittenburg is located in Landgoed de Wittenburg 1, 2244 BV Wassenaar.
Public transport: Traveling from The Hague central station you can take bus 43, 44, 385 and it takes 30 min to get there.
Car: Kasteel de Wittenburg is less than 15 min car ride away from Madurodam.
