We’re excited to introduce Angus the Data Puffin, the brand-new DCC mascot! To celebrate, we’re running a fun competition where one lucky winner will receive a free ticket to IDCC26 in Zagreb (16–18 February 2026). 

How to Enter 

1. Post a photo with a puffin (real puffin, plush toy, or the printable Angus cutout from our website). Get creative - take Angus on adventures, dress him up, or place him in a data-inspired setting! 
2. In your post, tell us why you’d like to attend IDCC26. 
3. Use the hashtag #IDCC26. 
4. Share your post on LinkedIn, Twitter or Bluesky between 6 October and 30 November 2025.

Winner Selection 

• All valid entries will be entered into a lottery draw. 
• The winner will receive a free two-day ticket to IDCC26. 
• We’ll also award a DCC goodie bag to the most creative photo! 
• Winners will be announced in early December 2025 on our social media channels. 

Terms & Conditions 

• Only posts on LinkedIn, Twitter or Bluesky will be counted. 
• Posts must include a puffin (real, toy, or Angus the Data Puffin Cut Out), the hashtag #IDCC26, and your reason for wanting to attend. 
• Only one entry per person will be accepted. 
• The conference ticket covers admission to the main conference and Drinks Reception only (dinner ticket, travel and accommodation not included). 
• By entering, you agree that we may reshare your post on our official DCC channels (LinkedIn, BlueSky, Twitter and DCC Newsletter Pipeline).
