This year for IDCC26 we will be running two social events in addition to the regular conference:  

1. Pre-conference Drinks Reception, 16 February 2026 

2. Conference Dinner, 17 February 2026 

Pre-conference Drinks Reception

A pre-conference Drinks Reception will be held on Monday 16 February 2026, from 18:00 – 21:00 CET at the Esplanade 1925 Lounge & Cocktail Bar.

Join us for the drinks reception to connect with fellow delegates in a relaxed atmosphere ahead of the main conference. To secure your spot at the Drinks Reception, add your free ticket during the registration process on Eventbrite.

Please note, spaces are limited for this event. If your circumstances change after booking your ticket, please inform us at idcc@dcc.ac.uk, so that we can give your place to someone else.

Conference Dinner 

In response to attendee feedback, this year we’re replacing the formal conference dinner with a more relaxed engaging experience. For IDCC26 the conference dinner will take place at the Garden Brewery and Taproom on 17 February 2026, from 18:30 to 21:30 CET. The ticket will include a brewery tour, buffet dinner and drinks.

The Garden Brewery and Taproom, is an award-winning microbrewery in Zagreb, founded in 2016 with the aim of bringing exceptional craft beer to Croatia’s vibrant music festivals. The brewery continues to brew beers designed to bring people together offering 14 core varieties available year-round, along with innovative monthly specials created in collaboration with some of the world’s leading craft breweries.

Two types of tickets are available:

Standard Dinner Ticket (£55)

• 30-minute brewery tour 
• Buffet dinner featuring burgers, chicken wings, fries, and salads (vegetarian and vegan options available) 
• 2 drinks of your choice – beer, wine, or non-alcoholic options 

Full Experience Dinner Ticket (£75) 

• Everything included in the Standard ticket 
• Additional 30-minute guided beer tasting featuring 4 different beers

How to purchase

Tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite. If you wish to bring a partner, additional tickets can be added to your basket.

Transport and Accessibility

The Garden Brewery is located at Slavonska avenija 26/1, 10000 Zagreb, in Žitnjak, East Zagreb - the city’s industrial hub. From the Esplanade Hotel (our conference venue), it’s a 15-minute taxi ride or around 30 - 40 minutes by public transport. Free parking is available onsite, and both bus and tram stops are a short walk away. We recommend using Google Maps to plan your journey.
