We are thrilled to announce that the IDCC27 will be held in the stunning city of Lisbon, Portugal. Known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and its warm, welcoming atmosphere, Lisbon provides the perfect setting to host the next chapter in the history of the IDCC.

Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal, is famed for its historical maritime routes, colorful architecture, and terraced streets. As a city that blends traditional heritage with striking modernism, Lisbon offers an array of experiences that cater to all tastes and interests. From its iconic yellow trams that wind through quaint old town streets to the cutting-edge galleries of the Belem cultural district, Lisbon is a city of contrasts and discoveries.

What to Do in Lisbon 

  • Explore the historic neighborhoods: wander through Alfama, Bairro Alto and Chiado, exploring hidden gems, local eateries, and stunning views over the Tagus River.  
  • Visit museums and historic architecture: delve into Portugal's history at the Museu Nacional do Azulejo, which showcases five centuries of decorative ceramic tiles, or explore Mosteiro dos Jerónimos (Monastary) 
  • Enjoy the cuisine: sample traditional Portuguese dishes like bacalhau (cod fish), pastel de nata (custard tarts), and a variety of seafood delicacies.
