Because good research needs good data

Full programme for IDCC10 released

Kevin Ashley | 27 October 2010

We're pleased to announce that the full programme for the forthcoming International Digital Curation Conference has now been released. Day 1 includes an exciting range of keynote and plenary speakers with a wide variety of perspectives on digital curation and research data management. It also features the best of the submitted, peer-reviewed papers - on a topical subject of education for e-science professionals.

Day 2 opens and closes with keynote presentations from Mackenzie Smith and Stephen Friend, but the bulk of the day consists of 3 strands of high-quality papers covering data curation in all its aspects. There's material to suit active practioners, educators and the more theoretically-inclined. We also have a number of papers from students in the field, the best of which has been selected for a plenary slot following Mackenzie Smith's opening keynote.

Just over two weeks remain to register for the early-bird discounted rate for IDCC10 this December 6-8 in Chicago. We look forward to welcoming you there.
