A range of accommodation options are available around the University of Melbourne. Delegates may prefer to opt for accommodation within the city centre which is just a short tram ride from the Conference venue or an easy 30-40 minute walk depending on which end of the city centre delegates choose to stay.

The University of Melbourne has organised special rates for conference delegates at two properties close to the University, either at Rydges on Swanston or Quest Carlton on Finlay.

Rydges on Swanston

Rydges on Swanston Melbourne provide a range of rooms. The University of Melbourne has negotiated a special rate of $182 per night for Executive Queen and Executive King rooms for delegates, subject to room availability. Rydges is situated on the main arterial road of Swanston Street and is only an 8-minute walk from the conference venue.

Quest Carlton on Finlay

Located in the heart of alfresco dining in Melbourne’s Italian district on Lygon Street, Quest Carlton on Finlay is only a 10-15-minute walk to the conference venue.

The University of Melbourne has negotiated special rates for delegates, subject to special rate room availability:

  • Studio Apartments starting from the conference rate of $170 per night,
  • 1 Bedroom Apartment starting from the conference rate of $170 per night 
  • 2 Bedroom Apartments starting from the conference rate of $220 per night.

Each room includes complimentary wireless internet access.
