This webinar will introduce two leading registry services - re3data and FAIRsharing - and help you to understand how using these services can improve the visibility of your repository service for a wide range of end users - both human and machines.
The Research Data Alliance (RDA) is delighted to announce that its 15th Plenary Meeting, with the theme "Data for Real-World Impact", will take place from 18 - 20 March 2020 in Melbourne, Australia, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, MCEC (https://mcec.com.au/). The event will be hosted by CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation) with the support of the Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC).

Data professionals, researchers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs and policymakers from all disciplines and geographies will reconvene from April 2-4, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for RDA’s 13th Plenary Meeting (P13). RDA Plenaries are held twice a year, at various locations across the globe.
The last plenary held in the United States, Plenary 8, was held in Denver, Colorado as part of International Data Week 2016.
The 11th RDA Plenary Meeting will take place from the 21st to the 23rd March 2018 in Berlin, Germany. Under the theme "From Data to Knowledge", the Plenary meeting welcomes the participation of all data scientists, experts and practitioners engaged in the advancement of data-driven science and economy.
From 3-7 July 2017, EUDAT is organising a Summer School to introduce early-career researchers to the principles and tools needed for careers in data science and data management. The week-long training course will be set in the stunning landscapes of Heraklion, Crete, and kindly hosted by FORTH. The course is applicable to those working with big data, as well as researchers from less data-intensive communities.
Since its start in July 2015, Project THOR -Technical and Human infrastructure for Open Research - has been working towards seamless integration between articles, data, and researchers across the research lifecycle, and a lot has been accomplished. During this one-day workshop, the THOR team will demonstrate tangible outputs of the past year, how these achievements are benefiting the research community, and where they are going next.

LIBER (Ligue des Bibliothèques Européennes de Recherche – Association of European Research Libraries) is the main network for research libraries in Europe. The association, founded in 1971, includes more than 400 national, university and other libraries from over 40 countries. LIBER’s Annual Conference is one of the most important gatherings for research library professionals.
