Digital Research Infrastructure (DRI) webinar series: Getting to Know FAIRsharing Resources, Communities and Services

Carolina Mayen Huerta, Research Data Specialist, at DCC has written a blog giving an overview of the DCC's three-phase mixed-methods approach: combining evidence, expertise, and stakeholder engagement to ensure that recommendations are both rigorous and practical for a recent consultancy project with the Pacific Community (SPC) Digital Library.

This virtual workshop will share the results of an initial mapping of UK activity undertaken by the PATH2EOSCUK project in relation to the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). The workshop will introduce the concept of use cases in the context of EOSC, provide an overview of existing use cases from the first wave of EOSC nodes, and begin the process of co-defining one or more use cases from the UK research infrastructure community.  

This interactive, virtual workshop aims to raise awareness about EOSC among a wide range of professional development bodies, training providers and research support professionals and to collaboratively identify possible approaches for coordinating UK training activities relevant to EOSC.
