Helping you with RDM
Sarah Jones | 03 April 2014
Last month, Jonathan Rans presented at IDCC on how we have revised the institutional engagement model. From 2011-2013 we were funded by HEFCE to assist 21 universities to increase their RDM capability. Feedback on the institutional engagement programme was really good, both from the participants and our funders. We're continuing to provide tailored support and Jonathan's presentation explains how we're doing that.
Rather than committing substantial resources to a small cohort of universities, we're now taking a more modular approach to spread our support further. We're happy to work with any universities on request and are agreeing small pieces of work to do with each. For example you may want us to run training courses, do a DMPonline customisation, meet with and advise your RDM steering group, help you to define metadata to keep a record of research data holdings... You can find out more about the types of support available on the tailored support webpages.
If you would like us to work with you, please email the helpdesk and let us know what kind of support you would like. We'll arrange a call to discuss this in more detail with you. If you're not sure exactly what you need, we can work with you to define the best starting point.
