As part of its Portage initiative, CARL announced the launch of DMP Assistant on October 21st. This national, open, bilingual data management planning tool will assist researchers throughout their projects. DMP Assistant was adapted from the (UK) Digital Curation Centre’s DMPOnline tool and is hosted at the University of Alberta.

Interest in DMPonline continues to grow. We receive around 150 new users each month and over 30 institutions are customising the tool. Over the last few months we’ve been taking stock to prioritise work and are pleased to release a roadmap for development in 2015.
