Machine-actionable DOI field for Research Outputs in DMPonline
The Digital Object Identifier for Research outputs is now available on DMPonline
We have a new, exciting feature coming live this week: Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for Research outputs, an integration with the OpenAIRE Graph Search API.
Using the new DOI integration is simple. Now, researchers can use DMPs as libraries of data produced for a project by adding research outputs to their plan. If their plan's research output has a DOI, then they can enter it in the designated machine-actionable field on the Edit Research Output page:
The tool will automatically populate the respective of the details, the type, title, description, release date, access level
The information is retrieved seamlessly using the OpenAIRE graph search API. This user-friendly feature reduces the need for manual entry of data, cutting down on time and effort.
You can also see the feature demo from our Celebrating Brilliance: Our DMPonline Community event below:
Researchers can then download DMPs, including research outputs and submit the information to funders, if required.
Subscribing organisation to DMPonline can retrieve useful statistics about research projects and data generated by using API V1.
We value your input and are eager to hear from you. Please use the feature and tell us what you think by emailing dmponline@dcc.ac.uk. Your feedback is crucial in shaping the future of our platform
