Because good research needs good data

IDCC14 - Programme update

Bridget Robinson | 10 December 2013

The Peer review process has been completed and details of all the accepted papers have now been added to the programme.

A total of eight research papers and 25 practice papers have been accepted for IDCC14. Both the number of papers submitted and the standard of content has been very high.

The papers cover a range of themes. Many of the practice papers will focus on pilot projects and lessons learned within disciplines and institutions as well as nationally, whilst the research papers will cover key areas including data reuse, data management and citizen science.

These papers will be presented on Wednesday 26 February in 3 parallel sessions. The main themes are as follows:

  • DMP
  • Training
  • Planning for Data Management
  • Institutional & National Research Data Management
  • Data Publishing: libraries & repositories
  • Data Publishing: linking with articles
  • Data Reuse
  • Data Workflows
  • Data & Value
  • Infrastructure
  • Citizen Science
  • Disciplinary Data

The programme will also include a dedicated demonstration slot and a poster exhibition. The exhibition will allow time to view the posters (up to 60 are expected) and to vote for your favourites. The winners will be announced on the afternoon of Wednesday 26 February.

The full list of posters and demos will be announced soon.

Check the conference web pages for full information about the papers and the idcc14 programme.
