Digital Research Infrastructure (DRI) Webinar Series - Overview
Starting in February 2026, we are launching a series of webinars to showcase the digital research infrastructure projects and communities in the UK and beyond in collaboration with UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). Join us to learn about state-of-the-art initiatives that aim to advance research tools and techniques, foster collaboration and data sharing, and accelerate discoveries across a range of academic disciplines and sectors. DRI Webinar: Getting to know the Physical Sciences Data Infrastructure

Join us for the first webinar in the Digital Research Infrastructure Webinar Series, organized by the Digital Curation Centre (DCC) and open to all. Dr Cerys Willoughby and Dr Samantha Pearman-Kanza of University of Southampton will introduce the Physical Sciences Data Infrastructure (PSDI) platform, resources, and community, outline ways to get involved, and answer questions from the audience.

Speaker
Dr Cerys Willoughby, Senior Research Fellow, School of Chemical Engineering, Southampton University.
Dr Cerys focuses is on how technology can be better designed and used to support researchers in the physical sciences. Her research interests include record-keeping and process recording in science, digital notebooks and Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELNs), data management and curation, metadata, researcher behaviour, and storytelling in science.
