DMPonline user group - Working together on a Plan
23 May 2023 |
Working together on a Plan
This user group meeting will focus on plan sharing and co-editing. The meeting will begin with a brief overview of capabilities for collaboration on writing a plan in DMPonline. It will be followed by a discussion on data ownership and confidentiality. The current data model in DMPonline is centered around the principle that the user owns their plans. Users can move between institutions and still view plans they wrote at their previous institution. The plans can be shared with collaborators from other institutions. From this point of view, DMPonline functions in the same way as collaborating on a research grant. Being able to view a plan means users can also see the template it is based on so institutional templates can be viewed by outside users. Plans can also be made public, open to anyone for viewing. Is this an issue?
